Retaining Rings

Retaining rings are designed to fasten components onto electric motor shafts or in a housing bore when installed into a groove. When installed in a groove, retaining rings create a shoulder that retains the component. The three types of retaining rings designed for specific application needs are  tapered, constant and spiral.
