Axial Face Seals

Axial Face Seals are a combination of the high speed capacity of standard mechanical seals with the simplicity of radial lip seals. Designed to be fixed on the shaft, they seal axially against a perpendicular counterface. They can be utilized as a primary or a backup seal and do an excellent job as a deflector of foreign materials, especially at higher speeds.
